Not Like This

Some affairs can be so muddy and grime.

A few boyfriends here and there, that's no longer a crime.

You date for a week or two,

Saying all your "I Love You's."

Then you dump him the next day,

Leaving him feeling an odd sense of grey.

Relationships shouldn't be viewed like this,

They're supposed to be happy and bliss.

All full of joy, without the need for a kiss.

Partnership shouldn't be a fun little game for someone to play,

It should be something that makes you feel as though you sway.

We need to change our view on these things,

There shouldn't be love with all these strings.

But just know that no matter what, you are all queens and kings.
