Not Afraid
Big people, loud voices argue in unison.
I squint up at angry Shining wet faces through the bright beaming sun.
They are yelling, screaming, demanding, marching.
I am surrounded, yet i am not afraid.
Ive been tagged along with pride, attached tightly to my mothers grasp the whole long day. This is powerful, this is different, this is a new beginning. Thats all i know. I dont understand to vote, i dont know segregate. I do know this is power. I do know this is togetherness. So i am not afraid
