Not Afraid

Now once I had a fear

Of performing for another’s ear

To the point where I couldn’t,

And even if I could… I wouldn’t.

Finally, when there was nowhere left to hide

Reluctantly I went up on stage with a sigh.

Afterwards I held my breath, waiting for the audience to cast their ballot.

I heard…

Don’t be afraid when you have a talent!
