Not Alone

I know what it is to feel alone

I know what pain is.

No.

No, I don't know your pain.

But I do know you are not alone.

No one is alone. 

In our darkest hours, we must see our own light

The light we reflect off others.

We cannot know what others think

If no one else likes you that's okay.

Because I know someone will,

And no one is really alone.

The pain IS real

The darkness IS consuming.

But you are not, nor ever will

Be alone.

You look around and see perfection

Perfection is a lie

Perfection is not real.

Who you see as perfect is human

They have pain.

They have struggle

They feel alone too.

Imagine.

Imagine what would happen 

If you could see inside them, looking at their soul

You would know they too felt alone.

No one can completely understand.

But that doesn't matter.

No one is alone, you just

need to find someone who tries

To understand
