Not Always Pretty

As a walk the hallways with a smile going side to side

I always seem to put everything aside

I never let anything show through

Always keeping everything inside

Everyone comments on how pretty or handsome I am

But it's all a face I put to not show who I really am

It is so much to keep in me

All these comments so good yet so bad

All to me

Piercing through me

Thats whats holding me

I always seem to question, why I hold myself from showing who I really am

I always find the answer being society

Not accepting

Having pretty and handsome looks is not who I really am

I am much more than just a pretty face

I am a human being

I am guy

I am gay

With many goals

We shouldn't offend each other

But to motivate each other

I am letting go of whats holding me back

Putting everything aside

Showing myself with no filter
