Not another stastic.

They said I couldn't make it,

But I did,

They said I would never get out the ghetto,

But yet again I did,

Being a black man no one really understand,

Most people would assume I am a bad kid,

Living in a harsh reality that's cruel to the poor,

These loans and debts people like me can't indure,

I thought the university of my dreams suppose to make me richer?

It looks like I am getting poorer am I not seeing the bigger picture?

Only thing I want is someone who can help me with my dreams,

So I can fly and the people who didn't believe in me,

Can see my wings,

So I can sore,

Sore all the way until I touch the sky,

So I can achieve excellence and not just be another "black guy".

No question marks needed if you change second line (But I'm only getting poorer, losing sight of the bigger picture). Not sure the title fits here, it;s a broad, overused phrase that might be more appropriate when considering college selections or job opportunities. I'm going to say "Just another black guy" might fit better here, sometime's its best to use a line in the poem that sums it all up.

Hate to be a grammar Nazi, but sore should be spelled soar, has a completely opposite definition of the one you were going for.
