Not Because I Want To, But I Need To
I don’t love because I want to, but because I need to
I’m not saying that love is a horrible thing
But if I didn’t have to love, I wouldn’t love
It’s like a mother who wants to give vegetables to her child
The child doesn’t want to eat them
Yet the mom forces the kid to eat them anyways
For she knows that it’s for his own good
But who says that anything is good for us?
For having anything to the excess can be bad for you
Like a person who got addicted to drugs
It’s bad enough just a little
But with an overdose
It’s fatal
Who says that love can’t be fatal at the excess as well?
Love makes you more silly
And if not corresponded
Can make you go crazy
And make fatal mistakes
So I don’t love because I want to, but because I need to
I need to eat my daily portion of love
But if I overdose, I could die
So if I didn’t have to love, I wouldn’t love
Cause after all
I don’t love because I want to, but because I need to
