Not a Child

I realized when I started applying to College

Even though I had the Knowledge

My scores were still too Low

Which wouldn't let me Glow

My thought was that I was not good Enough

But the fact is that I was Tough

I was not a Child

Which was wild

I had to fight for my Spot

With everything I Brought

Every scholarship

Made me flip

The things I learned in high school

Made me look like a fool

They never taught us how to write

Let along type

I was not a Child

Which was wild

I had to fight for my Spot

With everything I Brought
