Not a Child
I'm not a child anymore
I can comb my hair and dress myself,
I couldn't do that before.
I'm not a child anymore,
I stand tall and I speak up,
I've grown inside a lot more.
I'm not a child anymore,
I can give places and be on my in without an adult,
I love to explore.
I'm not a child anymore,
Im good at handling "grown up" problems,
Although I'd be glad to ignore.
I'm not a child anymore,
But I use to sleep in my mom's arms every night,
If I had the opportunity to be held again,
I would do once more.
