Not a Difference

Why cry...

Why scream...

Why shout...

If a difference is not made.

Look up...

Look down...

Look around...

Are others doing the same?

There are children being born...

There are deaths galore...

An infant left in the street...

A man bleeding out slowly...

Are you there to watch?

Are you there listening?

Are you seeing merely the past?

Or are you watching future being created?

Why cry, why shout, why scream...

When the past has been made.

Why cry, why shout, why scream...

When you choose not to change the future.
