Not as Easy to Get
The tell me I'm beautiful
'Wow,'
I hear all the time.
'I wish I had curls like yours.'
Or
'Boys must be all over you.'
And they say that like
It's a good thing,
To have boys attracted to you
Because you have a nice figure.
And maybe it is.
But just once,
I'd like to sit down with a guy,
And talk about the moon
And the stars,
The earth
and all the creatures
That live on it.
And whether or not
We are truly lone
in this strange place.
But instead I'm stuck
With shallow boys,
Interested in nothing
But the nice piece of ass
They think they're going to get.
