Not everyone is your friend

Waking up in the morning, filled with sadness.

Making up excuses to not goto school so I could stay in the darkness.

Only two people were my friends, everyone else was fake.

Cant trust certain people, even by mistake.

I learned that I was a woman and not a girl because,

I learned the world isn’t filled with rainbows and candy.

I had to pretend to be find and dandy.

While you told everyone lies, well get wise...

I am a woman thanks to you, you taught me I didn’t need fake people.

You were a snake in my garden, I turned into a hawk.

now pardon me while I clean you out, I have flowers to bloom.

flowers that will book into a new friends.
