Not everything is awesome
Not everything is awesome
Nothing I can do is awesome
Those test scores suck
Those grades are atrocious
That resume resembles a salted snail
These social skills are lackluster
This face embodies one of a blobfish
My self confidence is practically nonexistent
This isn't awesome
Nothing is awesome
I'm not awesome
But hey
Look on the bright side
Those socks I own are awesome
The music that I listen to is awesome
Those musical skills are flourishing
The blobfish won't hit a tree when it decides to walk on the sidewalk
The family and friends I have are amazing
These eyes have seen amazing sights
What's not awesome about my life
If I look on the bright side
But I guess the not-so-awesome moments in life are awesome, too
Facing failure and rejection wasn't awesome
But growing from the failure was awesome
I've become a whole new person
Stronger and better than ever
False hope isn't awesome
But I guess the sense of happiness I got from that was awesome
I've made myself happier from imagining myself with all those accolades
Making everyone I know proud
All that happiness went somewhere
It certainly didn't go to waste
Regardless of how I turn out in five
Ten
Fifteen years
I will know that I learned a very important lesson
Regardless of who I'm with
My occupation
My salary
My possessions
My location
My friends
My enemies
My death date
I will know
I will know how to stay optimistic in the worst times
I will know how to make myself and others happy
And most importantly
I will know
Everything is awesome
