Not Exactly Hurt
You filled my head with lies.
You enjoyed lying about it all.
You never saw compromise.
You just wanted to see me fall.
You're a woman made of pride,
A woman like a wildfire.
You never stood by my side,
A woman made a liar.
I've always told myself that I fall too easy.
A woman like you took control.
You took hold of me, squeezing,
shredding, separating body from soul.
I never came back, not complete.
You left me in shreds, some still gone.
And now I'm back, tougher, more concrete.
You extinguished a light I will never again turn back on.
