I used to see you everyday. Now you are only seen in my dreams. You had your little sayings, And asked me about my day. Now your sayings are frozen in time, Forever stuck in my head. From the time I wake up till I go to bed, Many thoughts go through my head, With much being unsaid. You were here forever and I never noticed. Now the fact that you're gone is all I notice. I missed my chance to say goodbye. And now as you look down at me from the sky, All you see is tears. Tears I never thought I'd have to cry.
