not friends

I keep trying to tell myself that we’re friends. But we’re not. We are not friends. Friends don't do the things we did. Friends don't hold each other in their sleep like they are never going to see eachother again and a friend doesn't kiss her on the forehead after she had a bad dream. Friends don't wake up next to each other on a tuesday morning and a friend doesn't kiss her goodbye. Friends don't lock the door and exchange a dance between the souls and a friend does not kiss her goodbye. A friend. does not. kiss her. goodbye
