Not Good Enough

My soul has been broken and restored I feel pain no more. You yell and scream about the daughter I should be From your grasp I wish to be free. Pain and sorrow are my tears The road of death seems so near. Nothing is ever good enough What you do makes me tough. I learn of unkind and icy hearts But you can never tear me apart. I have learned without love or care It is something I’ve learned to bare.
