This is not home, it is empty space.

This is not home.

When I lay in my bed,

I feel out of place.

This unknown town

with 3 stoplights

and a million judgements

is not where I belong.

I belong miles upon miles away.

Somewhere were it's bright.

Where the light reaches my skin.

Where I can breath.

Where every sun set is a swirl

of pinks, oranges, and lavenders.

I want to be there.

I want to be home.

Wherever home is,

 I long for it.

But until then,

until I find my home,

this is where I'll stay.
