Not Just A Bunch of Robots
You claim you care
But yet you take away my chair
You say it’s easy
But yet you make me queasy
You try to teach
But yet I’d still rather be at the beach
You tell us to be quiet
But yet our explanations, you don’t buy it
Oh teacher when will you learn
Your ‘looks’ aren’t really stern
It just makes us laugh
Whenever you instruct us on how to make a bar graph
Oh teacher when will you realize
That you don’t have hawk eyes
Catching a student
Won’t ever show you’re prudent
Oh teacher when will you actually show concern
For the kids with sunburns
Wishing they were in prison
Rather than being under this unnecessary supervision
Oh teacher when will you understand
just teaching us won’t make us advanced
Us students need also need compassion
To show how you not only care about our actions
We are not a your puppets
We are not robots who come in the hundredths
We are students
We are also humans
