Not Just Me
This ache in my chest
It doesn't separate me from the rest
Sometimes it gives me stress
Sometimes I become a mess
Down
Breaking bad
Thoughts of what I could've had
Born in a life
That wasn't meant to be mine
The rattles in my bones
Reminds me of what could've been home.
He spends everyday locked up in his mind
Trying to find a way to leave all his past behind
He begins to slip away through the cracks
The emptiness inside
Feels like arms taking ahold of him
Squeezing tightly until he can't feel anything
His mind can be a terrible place
A void of inifinite space
He thinks of who he was
Who he is
Who he could be
That indescribable feeling
When everyone and everything feels far and deceiving
In a box of walls and a ceiling
The feeling of barely breathing.
No one is listening
No one is listening only hearing
Define happiness
In a world so helpless
Issues piling
People gathering
What're they fighting?
The uneducated wanting to be educated
The educated wanting to be uneducated
Because when you learn more about this world it becomes unappealing
When all the mistakes and chaos keeps repeating
When the tortured and stolen souls seem to go on forever
And no one but their loved ones will remember.
