Not Just A Truck
With perfect square body lines
With a supercharger that whines
Exhaust popping
Switch dropping
Trucks are a lifestyle
Burning rubber that goes into a pile
Going to a car show in Lytle
Socialize for a while
Diesel dripping on the dirt driveway
Going to buy her some new shoes
She cannot lose
At the track
There ain’t no going back
Fresh scent of race fuel
The turbo will spool
Revving the engine as it beats
Spinning tires so they heat
