not a kid

I realized I wasn't a kid anymore when all my friends started wearing makeup I wish I had known I didn't need to feel ugly and unliked because I didn't wear makeup I wish I had known that being a girl is more than wearing dresses and makeup I wish I had know that by simply existing I am a girl I wish I had know that I am valid no matter how I dress or act
