Not Lifeless

The past full of sorrows
Unseen tears, unheard cries
Iron chains with blood stains
Gripped my black soul of pain

Left in fear and pain
Left alone in rain
Poker faced, years of pretending
Fake smiles, forced laughs
Still i survived with that broken heart

I was left to die, no one heard my call
Unloved, worthless and broken
Silenced and many words unspoken
I was like wallflower, with a bleeding heart
Still i opted to restart.

I survived the storm that was meant for me
I strived to be the one who I dreamt to be

It's life, a mixture of love, hate, sorrows and madness.
Be thankful that you're not lifeless
