Not a love ballad

When I’m around you ,

My heart skips a beat.

You take my breath away,

You make me stop in my tracks,

You freeze my thoughts,

I think about you and cry

Longing, yearning, for a time long ago,

But this is not love ballad, no.

My heart skips a beat like it nearly did, a thousand times after what you did.

My lungs won’t breath, hoping if I’m quiet you won’t notice me, remind me...

All I can think of this that memory.

The tears I shed, are mourning a time I wasn’t this, when you weren’t a monster.

This is what I wish I felt, not love, not hatred,

but nothing.

Call me Blue, its what my friends call me. I'm an aspiring poet with small dreams and a big heart. I tell only my story, try to make it interesting, but forgive me if i bore you.
