Not From Me

Dear Lesli,

Because I could not want for you,

it did kindly want for me.

Love, love, everywhere,

yet not a drop to want.

It does want, it does get,

should I let it set?

Because I could not lock for you,

it did kindly for me.

I don"t know in fact,

if it was worse for wear.

Should we have ever met?

Pay attention to her,

as she wears fur.

In the most vivacious way she can,

you be glad she never ran.

For when I think of her, I see an ocean.

And a voice like Billy Ocean.
