Not Me

Don't be afraid to be yourself

Thats what they say

But what if they you you are is not wanted?

Parents despise the real you without knowing

Never truely one's self

For if the roof caved in and the truth came out they would be disgusted with you

Friends?

Never

You must keep that mask on as well

Mask

Fake

False

Hidden

Lies

Soon you yourself you shall lose

Becoming all those falsities

Becoming what others want not what you are

A caged bird forced to be a certian way

Longing to be the free dragon that rules the sky

Why cannot I just be me?

Please

Let me be myselff

No

I do not want to act that way

I want to be me

Fine

Just for now

Yet just for now turnes into future

Future turns into life

And life turns into forever

And you lose yourself.
