Not Meant To Be

My dearest friend

Here we are

Yet again

Time and time over

You break

And I stay sober

Too sober

To cope

I don't know how to anymore

Losing hope

And gravity

Is finally catching up

To you and me

I love you so

So much

That it kllls me to see you go

I would do

Just about anything

For you

To keep you here

With me

Lost in this place

Floating

Between time and space

You make me sick

But you make me

Remember who I am

And what it was like

To be alive

You may

Be the death

Of me

It's very likely

We're not meant to be

And I see

No other ending

For you and me

I see

Nothing but shadows

And old wounds

Still bleeding

But I love you so

So much

I can't let you go

Even though

I know

This isn't meant to be
