Not Moving On

Why is it

That one look

Can change

Everything?

How can it be

That your laugh

Sends butterflies

Fluttering inside?

I don’t understand

Why I’m drawn to you.

I don’t get why

Your voice makes my heart race.

But every time I think

I’ve finally moved on

I see your smile.

And it all comes rushing back.
