Not My Everything

He is not my everything.

He supports me, when I am down,

he makes me laugh.

And my friends, too.

He is not perfect.

We disagree,

but he's a good listener when we are working it out.

He is not always with me.

When he's not,

I'm not always sure what he's doing,

and thats okay.

Because he is not my everything,

I am my everything,

and he is someone I love.
