Not My Generarion

We live in a generation where the appearance means everything,

yet knowledge means nothing.

The guy will disrespect the girl, yet the girl keeps blushing.

Fights start on Facebook

and end at school.

Boys exposing girls

who sent them nudes.

We live in a generation where music speaks of sex and drugs.

Of being in the streets.

And turning up is more important

than what the teacher has to teach.

Individuality?

That is only for the lames.

For if you don't fit in with them,

you can not play their games.

We live in a generation where we are told,

"Be yourself. Unless that is gay.

Because God won't love you unless you're straight."

We live in a generation where hypocrisy is key.

I live in a generation where I do NOT wish to be.
