Not Our Concern
Not Our Concern,
because the government has always been like that to them.
Not Our Concern,
because race and ethnicity has always worked against them.
Not Our Concern,
because we are avoiding all of that to not be them.
When is it our concern?
When the government is directly mistreating us?
When is it our concern?
When the complexion of our skin affects us?
When is it our concern?
When we finally start looking outside of us?
It is my concern,
that the government was built against us.
It is my concern,
that race and ethnicity work against us.
It is my concern,
because they are us.
