Not Perfect

I may not be the perfect guy,
But I'm definitly not the worst.
I guess kinda I'm mediocre
But I'm pretty much cursed.

My relationships fail.
Every single time.
That may be why I'm afraid
To voice my heart's chime.

There's one woman I know
I would do anything for.
The problem with that
Is she's not exactly next door.

Time and distance
Limit what we desire.
For true love
Does not have a misfire.

I guess that's why
She'll never want me.
She deserves far better
Than this absentee.
