Not Perfect But Healthy

Mon, 10/16/2017 - 23:21 -- Nautias

How is one perfect?

Relationships, on the mind

Fake, real, love is blind

Mom and dad may be

Or they may be broken too

Perfect is not true

They can be caring

Or they can cause immense harm

Only one is kind

We abjure the last

And adore the former half

Conforming to both

Perfect may not be

But healthy is one that could

Tried and true, fair, safe

Emend our way's past

Emulate the healthy ones

Engender true prime

Strive not to be them

Those televised on a screen

"Reality", not

Be yourself, be fair

Be nice, be soft, understand

Their help in the dark

They will return it

Together we will be one

Healthy, I love you
