This is Not a Pipe

Ceci n'est pas une pipe.

Then what is this type,

of odd peculiar being?

An elephant's tusk and face,

flipped upside down in place?

Ceci n'est pas une pipe.

Elementary, my dear Watson.

Tis nothing, but a smoke stack.

Ceci n'est pas une pipe.

What is that though? In the corner, "Margritte'?

Then what is it we are seeing?

Eleven emotions this might bring!

For it is peace

and peace is man!
