Not a poem, but a message

A lot of moments today I have felt scared

Even being around the ones I love

The ones I trust

Because what gets in the way

Is thinking that they don't like who I am.

I am Gay, I am Trans, and I am proud of me

Even if some people don't like it

Because it is MY choice in who I get to be

and if someone doesn't like me for that

Then hate to break it to you, buddy,

But life will never go your way.
