Not as Pure
Lost in the city
With nowhere to hide
I stumbled upon a heart
That had greater love than mine
I sometimes think to myself
Why did this special heart have to say goodbye?
It was not my fault
The heart was not pure
Not as a pure as I had first imagined
It was a heart full of desperation
I know now who should stay
And who should go
Because they have shown me
More than you could ever know
Once I begin to stop caring
That line is drawn
Oh you are once again trying to cross it?
Nice try, just cut to the chase
And say goodbye as you have done before
