not really a poem

Sometimes i wonder how the human brain grasps the concept of pain versus pleasure
or whether a person enjoys or despises indulging in an activity
we are all made of the same things
but somehow we manage to determine a difference between one another
We can't see ourselves in anything but a reflection
we don't even know what we look like as people
Yet with what seems and feels like nothing to us
Our bodies move we see and hear
smell and taste
We don't even think about it it just happens
but my curiosity wonders
how are we as just what we are capable of such amazing things
without thinking twice about it?
