Not Red

The roses aren't red.

My violets aren't blue

I was alone

where were you?

The days come together

the rest never lasts

my life is ship

and you broke the masts.

Still the world turns,

slowly yet surely.

I don’t want to grieve

so tell me, why did you leave?

Most everything I write is unedited. Just whatever comes to mind. Feel free to judge, cause I don't take this super seriously.
