Not That Scary

I've never been afraid of the dark or monsters under the bed

More terrified of being left with the thoughts that are in my head.

The brain does not sleep, it remains active

and that is the scariest part about having one.

I think and I don't stop.

I dream and I can't tell what's real and what's not.

I try to infiltrate my own thoughts but they kick me out as if they aren't mine.

I've realized that the only scary thing about my thoughts is how powerful they are.

I speak life and love into my thoughts and it happens.

So I suppose the only thing I should be scared of is not my thoughts,

but what power they possess and what will happen if I don't use my power.
