Not So Alone Anymore

As I rush to the bathroom, Must have been the sushi last night. With every step I felt as if I was on a roller coaster, as you make that dip, stomach dropping. I can’t keep my breakfast down, Must have been the fight me and my boyfriend had last night. As words flew and screaming arose, it was like World War III Take cover. Off to School, just what I need now, With friends who aren’t really your friends, rumors that spread faster than the goose bumps when the cold night chill hits you. And food that is faker than that plastic kitchen play food my little cousin plays with. My teacher comes in smiling, ready to ruin my life. Pop Quiz, I could have guessed by the evil smirk on his face. Can you go the whole day avoiding someone? It has worked so far, Haven’t seen my boyfriend all day and every time a friend spots me I duck and run. A paintball fight, ducking from every bullet filled with color. I’m trying to come out of this day alive, With all white No color on a single inch of my body. Oh No! There’s my boyfriend, he spotted me. What do I do? How do I tell him? “I’m late.” “Me too, I got to get to class but I just wanted to talk about how you acted last night.” “No I’m late.” At that moment, as he pulled me closer toward him, I knew I was not alone.
