Not so Little

Smiles not always real,

Constantly afraid to smile

Scars on my heart with,

Questions never answered

Anguish before happiness

Always pleading for help,

Nothing ever happens.

My parents spilt when I was four years old,

I will never forget the screaming voices

Never forget the pain we went through.

Always thinking it was my fault,

Learning how to do things for myself at 8

Now 17 looking back I wouldn't change a thing

They don't understand what they put me through

I'm stronger, smarter, and more loving than what I ever could have been
