Not So Magical
She's at the Ball,
oh what a blast.
She meets the prince and hopes it will last.
There's dancing and laughter in the air,
She knows this is temporary, truly not fair.
The clock strikes twelve, Cinderella must hurry
She loses her glass slipper, while trying to scurry.
The prince searches high and low for his mysterious mistress,
He finds a Woman who suits his best interest.
She tries on the slipper and wow, it fits!
They stare into each others eyes as if they met.
Its not Cinderella, it is a girl from another village,
This ends her story with a daunting Image.
Life as a maid, like nails to a chalkboard to my ears,
All day and All night Cinderella weeps with tears.
