Not-So-Poison Ivy

I’m itching everywhere

But I really don’t care

Grown tangled in poison ivy lies

You kissed my cheek

It was gentle

But it poisoned me

The news is I love you

In all your imperfections

Looks can be deceiving

A clear case of misdirection

I think of you highly

My not-so-poison Ivy.
