Not Today

The color of your eyes are what stay in mind.

I know they shouldn't be in my head

but I can't forget you.

Even after everything that was said, written, and thought.

You scarred me

Mentally scared me, the worst way possible.

All I see when I think of you are your eyes,

A blue color brighter than the ocean.

Why did I have to remember you in a beautiful manner?

One day I will forget you,

just not today.
