Not a Weapon but a Tool

The words flow from the pen to the page

Then from the page to screen

That's what I want to see

Words

My job would be words

Millions of combinations of twenty-six symbols

Creating people and worlds

Writing

For screen

For page

My mind and soul for the world to see

Pages

Ideas come and go

Some are fleeting

Some stick around

Pen

The sword that has the power to make words eternal

Not a simple tool to wield

The words must come
