Not "Wrong"

It gets a little old

when you constantly get told

every single thing

the world thinks you've done "wrong".

How every single day

it finds some funny way

to throw you off your game

when the world sees you as "wrong".

It's just the way I am,

so why can't you understand?

It's how I think and stand

It's just the way I am.

I know you don't agree;

there's no way you could see.

but, if only for today

could you just let me be me?

This "wrong" thing that you see

is just the way I'll stay.

I'll keep on being me

no matter what you say.
