Not your typical love poem

stranded on an island?

only one thing to take.

easy.

my good ol' grandpa

his smile would serve as a light in the darkest of nights

his laugh would warm us up in the cold

his arms would hold us together when we're filled with frights

talking to him would never get old.

his creativity would keep us alive

he'd use his big noggin to provide

I know he's the reason I could survive.

his love is all I really need in life,

because without him I don't want to be

my good ol' grandpa means the world to me
