A note to my myself; a reflection on my activism.

A year ago, you didn’t realize activism was in your near-future.
Now, more than one hundred lives,
thousands of gallons of water,
and many other natural resources
are saved each year because
You choose not to put animal bodies or their by-products
on your body or your food plate.
You have learned the truth,
and have found a way to help your planet
that is crying for savior.
At a time when your upcoming “leaders”
do not care about the environment,
it is crucial to be a part of this movement.
Be proud, be informative.
Tell people why you don't choose
the chicken or the egg
and maybe next year others
will have saved
lives, water, and resources
because of you.
