Note to Self

Hold on to your hats people, because life is coming with astounding speed. Try to gather all of your favorite moments, then string them together and keep them etched in the back of your mind for safe keeping. Carry a tiny scrap of heartache in the back pocket of your blue jeans so you'll never forget how far you've come. When the nights are clear and beautiful, remember to take a good hard look at the constellations from wherever your feet are standing because we are all united by the patterns in the stars. Remember that. And I think the best way to keep the pace of life in sight is to be who you are. Be who you are like the calloused hands that were a little tender when the layer underneath was first exposed. Be who you are, with a spoon full of sass-a-frass and class. Put your shoulders back, stand up straight, and get ready to run. Because you will keep up, I promise.
