Note to Self

I know it doesn’t get said quite enough,

But I think you’re great you’re pretty tough.

You’ve been knocked down a time or two,

Although so far there’s been nothin’ you can’t get through .

And don’t you ever forget your worth,

You’re a beautiful, wonderful soul; been that way since birth.

You’re a dare-er and a dreamer, that much is true,

The sky’s the limit of everything I know you can do.

Keep working hard at all your dreams,

And watch them play out, each one that you achieve.

What I admire most is your love of your faith,

Your passion for the Lord that this world just can’t shake.

So here’s to you, self, that’s all I wanted to say,

Just to remind you that you’re a rockstar, and you’re doing more than just okay.
